DEDUSTING

DEDUSTING

Almost every process in construction chemicals plants – crushing, grinding, screening, conveying, packing – generates dust. This dust must be controlled for worker health and environmental compliance. İsnatec dedusting systems are designed with source capture principles. Bag filters, jet pulse cleaning systems, and cyclone pre‑filters retain dust particles down to 0.1 micron. Outlet emission values are reliably reduced below 10 mg/Nm³ in most applications.

The heart of the system is the bag filter, manufactured from polyester, acrylic, PTFE‑membrane, or aramid (Nomex) fabrics. Selection depends on dust chemistry and gas temperature. For example, aramid bags are used for hot dust up to 200°C, while PTFE membranes are chosen for acidic gases. İsnatec’s jet pulse system uses compressed air to shake the bags, causing accumulated dust to fall into the hopper. Cleaning starts automatically when pressure drop reaches a set value, without interrupting the process.

Safety is critical due to dust explosion risk. İsnatec provides explosion relief panels, flame arresters, and passive suppression systems on the filter housing, compliant with ATEX directives. Static electricity is discharged via grounding strips and conductive bags. The entire dedusting line is designed with tight connections and operates under negative pressure, ensuring zero dust leakage to the clean air side. Cyclone pre‑filters protect bags from coarse particles and extend bag life.

Operational efficiency is enhanced with energy‑saving fans, frequency‑controlled motors, and differential pressure sensors. Collected dust is automatically discharged from the hopper via a rotary valve into a drum or big‑bag. If desired, this dust can be recovered back into the process (e.g., used in low proportions in dry mortar). Filter performance is monitored via SCADA, and failures such as torn bags or pressure leaks are immediately reported. İsnatec dedusting helps plants meet legal obligations, provides a clean working environment, and improves labor productivity.
