Storage of raw materials and finished products is critical for production continuity in construction chemicals plants. İsnatec silo solutions are designed according to material type, capacity requirement, and discharge system. Main types: flat‑bottom silos (large capacity, low height), conical silos (self‑emptying, small‑medium capacity), and mobile silos (temporary storage). Materials are S235 or stainless steel (304/316); interior surfaces can have smooth coatings or PTFE liners.

For safe and efficient operation, İsnatec integrates the following as standard:

Capacitive or radar level sensors – continuous fill level measurement

Bag filter (max 10 mg/Nm³) – prevents dust emissions during filling

Pressure relief valve and explosion venting – safety against overpressure

Anti‑bridging cone – prevents arching / bridging of material

Fluidization unit – improves flowability of fine, difficult materials

Aeration discharge – accelerates material flow in the silo cone

Conical silos have a cone angle at least 5‑10° steeper than the material’s angle of repose (e.g., 70° for cement, 60° for sand). Flat‑bottom silos use sweep augers or pneumatic discharge systems to remove material near the bottom. İsnatec provides a rotary valve or cell wheel feeder at the silo outlet for controlled material transfer to the conveying line.

İsnatec silos are modular, allowing fast on‑site assembly. Bolted panel systems (not welded) make them easy to dismantle and relocate. Optional weighing systems (silos on load cells) provide stock tracking with ±1% accuracy. Insulation (for hot or cold materials) and climate jackets are available on request. All silos are manufactured with corrosion‑preventive paint or galvanization for a 50‑year service life.
